CADERNOS ESQUECIDOS is a collection of screenprinted publications, each one dedicated to a different indigenous food ingredient from Leiria's region (Portugal). Combining a process of collecting memories and ethno-food research with a component of technical and artistic experimentation, the aim is to generate knowledge, contribute to a better interpretation of the ecosystems and fill the gap between the act of eating and printmaking.
The first number was dedicated to the portuguese crowberry (camarinha).
CADERNOS ESQUECIDOS is a project by Leonor Carpinteiro and Lia Ferreira | #1 CAMARINHA was printed at Oficina Mescla (Porto), by Alexandra Rafael, Leonor Carpinteiro, Lia Ferreira and Tomás Dias | 50 copies
